The death toll in the current Ebola outbreak is inching closer to 5000 as the World Health Organization has announced that the numbers have risen to 4,950.
This
 was revealed by the WHO on Friday, November 7 and the body maintained 
calls for more urgent measure to be put in place to stop the spread of 
the virus.
“Case
 incidence is declining in some districts in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra 
Leone, while steep rises persist in other districts.”
The
 organization added further that it is critical to shore up defences in 
countries neighbouring the three affected nations to prevent a further 
spread of the disease.
The cases of the diseases have also risen to 13,241 in the latest figures which reflect the situation as at November 4.
